A song for her by whose power alone the sun shines and the wind blows.

In dreams I whispered your name
In the hope of softly falling rain
In the shadow of candles felt
Together Light and darkness melt

For her I’ve shown the flesh inside
but always something left to hide
A truth that’s told is one less weight
A truth that’s old draws instant fate

That one kiss of which she spoke
Has purged my soul and shall evoke
The serpent hiding deep within
